Write Journal Entries which should each include descriptions that are thoughtful and well written but may be brief to receive full credit. DO include a personal response – your (honest) opinions of the work for each as well. There should be at least one paragraph for the description and one paragraph for the personal response. Each entry should have its own “journal template” which includes the composer, composer name, etc. (An example of a journal template style will be uploaded in the additional instructions area). Each entry will have a video that needs to be listened to and will be in links that will be on a document uploaded in the additional instructions area. Entry 1 is “Kyrie, Gregorian Plainchant” on you tube and “Music for a Knight #16 – Alleluia, o virga mediatrix” also on youtube… Entry 2 is “Kalenda Maya – Raimbaut de Vaqueiras” on youtube”… Entry 3 is “Machaut Rondeau 14, “Ma fin est mon commencement” (crab canon over a palindrome)” on youtube… Entry 4 is “Fair Phyllis I saw sitting all alone – Farmer” on youtube.. I added the exact names of the youtube vids incase the links do not work so you can just type or copy and paste these titles into youtube and the videos should show up.
