References to other information (other monographs, relevant articles, websites, reviews) can (and in case of a work of fiction have to) be included. Review the book in the context of the discussions in class concerning the more general issue of Decolonizing Europe and perspectives on European history. The language of the monograph/edited volume can be Dutch, English, German, or French; however, write your paper in English. As in a review, the essay should also be based on literature and other sources and should fulfill the same requirements as a review essay. Structure A review essay needs a fluent and well-structured argument, with the following elements:
1.Introduction
2.Elaboration
3.Conclusion
4.References.
Build an argument from introduction to conclusion. Find a good balance between summarizing and judging, between general outlines and specific examples.
