During the first half of the course we concentrated on the causes and implications of hot wars. During the second half of the semester we explored the 70 year era known as “The Cold War”. What led to the cold war, which heated up in Korea and Vietnam? What were the basic reason the United States “fought” the Cold War political, cultural, economic, ideological or military? From our text book, documents, lectures, and books present an argument that supports at least two of these possible reasons for the cold war. The text book, documents and lectures must be used to support your analysis.
