Society dictates how, when, and with whom people engage. This discussion allows you to consider the different types of societies and how people function within them. Consider how an ideal society would develop groups as you explore the material and engage in the thread. Instructions There are seven different types of society: hunting and gathering society, horticultural society, pastoral society, agricultural society, industrial society, postindustrial society, and biotech society. Compare and contrast at least two of these while addressing the following: What type of groups does the society support? Are there formal groups/organizations? In-groups? Out-groups? What do people born into that particular society spend most of their time doing? How does their community influence influence people as individuals? How does their environment impact them spiritually and emotionally?
