Theme: Connecting Place, People and Values and Decision Making Instructions Based on the theme of thinking about the connections between place, people, values and decision making. Students need to do all of the following: i. Present/describe a natural/other place of significance to you, and explain why it is meaningful. ii. Research the impacts/problems that either impacting this place now, or may impact it in the future. iii. What types of changes can you expect in this area? iv. What types of management/policies are in operation for that place. v. What is/are the relationship/s between people and environment represented here, and does it matter? Present the results of your research as a poster. In your poster you must: ? Include descriptions/answers to all of the above. ? Sum up and be prepared to discuss your findings in class. ? When you speak to your poster, your reflection must show some research about the place as well as your own experience/understanding of it. ?
