The final report & reflection is the final step towards completing the course and it builds on your “Oral History” Story Assignment (description of the story), completed prior.

In your final report and reflection you will analyze and reflect on the story you wrote based on your oral history. It needs to be approximately a 2-3 pages/500- 750 words, (typed and double-spaced).

The final report will include:

Part 1) A brief description and fully developed analysis of your story/ oral history.

You will draw from your prior story description and preliminary analysis, you will provide the sources you used, and you will describe the analytic themes you found (including the preliminary ones and any new themes you identified).

The material, in addition to a BRIEF narrative description (writing) CAN include audio-visual materials (1-3 slides, 1-2 min podcast, photograph)- Use your Creativity!

Part 2) Analysis and reflection:

In this part you will address the following questions:

1) How do your analytic themes stated above connect to human rights content and topics addressed in the course materials? (bring in a citation or connection to some of the chapters in Blau & Esparza and any other relevant course materials). what have you learned about the nature of thee specific human rights in the context of your case study (story)?

2) Conclude with your informed reflections on your project on human rights: What have you learned about the nature of leadership.motivation, action, participation, solidarity, or any other themes that stand out for you?
