Health educators use presentations to communicate information in a variety of settings. Students will create a lesson plan designed for the small-group setting. The goals of the assignment are: select a target audience, select an appropriate topic based on the target audience, develop three learning objectives, and to identify a variety of presentation methods (4-5) that will assist in delivering the content so participants can achieve the objectives.
Students will design and submit two items for this assignment:
1) a lesson plan
2) a 5-7 minute video discussing and outlining the lesson plan, methods and resources that will be used to present to the target audience.
