This week you will pretend you work for a marketing company tasked with completing the following: Choose two or more demographic categories of your choice (for example race and religion) i.e. White Christian. Find a product you would like to market/advertise. Create a short pamphlet or flyer that advertises that product in a way that would appeal to that particular demographic set you chose. Explain why your work would succeed in marketing this good or service. Address potential challenge questions such as “would this potentially be offensive or off-putting to any other groups” in your explanation. Post it to Moodle with the names of the person/people you worked with. Each student will respond to one peer in a meaningful way that extends and adds depth to the conversation.
