This week students will not complete all the requirements for the Supporting Literature. Each week students will return to the Supporting Literature section and add additional sources as they complete more sections of the form. This week students will focus on locating 3 sources that all talk about the same healthcare organizational problem.
It is important to understand that a Health Services Organizational (HSO) research problem serves as the cornerstone of your entire Doctoral Study. Students must present new scholarly knowledge about an HSO problem to solve the organizational problem.
This week students will use the class discussion board to draft the following sections of the prospectus form. (Hint: use the below headings in your initial posting) The following needs to be completed:

Supporting Literature Search Results
Supporting Literature Research Justification – 3 annotated literature summaries to justify the HSO research problem
Problem – social health problem
Problem – research problem

Keep in mind that the Doctoral Study process is iterative and cyclic, so you will be returning to various sections of the form to make revisions following instructor feedback and information from the published literature.
