Evaluate and assess your best business idea in terms of the five dimensions of the Opportunity Evaluation Framework (OEF). A potentially feasible business idea should meet all the five dimensions of the OEF. Therefore, you will present your best idea in a 2-min PPT presentation (which will be a recording of your narrated PPT slides using either Kaltura Capture or another program that outputs an MP4 file), and you will receive feedback from me and your peers. This presentation marks the first milestone of the entrepreneurial process, that of idea evaluation, and is an essential step toward the completion of your final project. Even if feedback on your topic presentation indicates that your idea will not really be doable during the course of the term or that it does not really pass the test of the Opportunity Evaluation Framework, that’s okay. Based on the feedback you receive, you could either iterate and change the idea or you could pivot, and, if need be, you could brainstorm again and then restart with a new idea. Whatever the outcome is following this initial Business Idea Assessment Presentation, you will gain valuable insights that will help you as you proceed. After careful review of and reflection on the comments from your peers and me, you will then complete the Business Idea Progress Update assignment next week. This will ensure your team is on the right path, instead of wasting weeks pursuing a non-promising idea. Once I have approved your project topic next week, you will then spend the next five-six weeks analyzing and validating different parts of your business opportunity, using both primary and secondary research. DELIVERABLE: 1) Please upload to this assignment (a) your narrated PPT presentation from your MyMedia space (note that you can either record in KalturaCapture or create an MP4 file in another program of your choice, but you must upload your MP4 file to My Media and then link to Canvas from MyMedia) , and (b) your PPT slides. Evaluate and assess your best business idea in terms of the five dimensions of the Opportunity Evaluation Framework (OEF).
