IIn this week’s unit, it describes the ways in which the three sectors meet and define, consider, assess and meet community needs. Discuss what it means to be a citizen or member of a community in relation to American governance. Students will also consider what it means to identify, define and meet the needs of the communities they serve as Public Administrators. In this unit, students will: – Consider the philosophical underpinnings of the tasks ahead of them as public administrators. – Discuss their responsibilities as citizens (of American or other society) and how they view their charge. -Build their own personal statement of purpose as public administrators. Instructions for this week’s assignment below: Write a “Statement of Purpose.” Your resume, professional social media, and personal brand will include your own personal statement of purpose. This is a brief paragraph where you get to tell the world who you are, what you’re about, and what you want to accomplish through your work. After considering the philosophical exercises this week. You will draft a statement of purpose that describes your personal and professional philosophy. This should be a paragraph that is well-written and thoughtfully constructed. These are the only guidelines. This is your statement of purpose that will be a living part of your professional portfolio.
