(Be sure to copy and paste the item into your response.) To enhance your discussion of each item, you may wish to address 2-3 of the following:•What caught your attention about this item?•What personal connections do you make with this item?•What professional connections do you make with this item? •In what ways does this item connect with our course readings thus far?•In what ways does this item connect with your previous studies?•How might you go about sharing insights gleaned from this item with friends/family/colleagues?B.Write a 250-300 word reflection on your current understanding of Able-Bodied Privilege. Discuss how this understanding intersects with the course materials you have encountered so far and can help all humans “unlearn ableism.” (This is separate from your answers above, in section A.)NOTE: the goal of this activity is to see how you connect with items on the list. So, for example, #21 resonated with me; since I have asthma and was very sick as a child, people would often accuse make of making up my symptoms and trying to stay home because I was “lazy.” Further, #16 shocked me; before exploring Disability Studies, I had no idea that disabled people would be discouraged from having children.
