Title – Clear and precise. For example “Genetically modified foods: Good or Bad?” you will also put your name, date, and instructor’s name.

Introduction – Introduce your topic and background information giving the reader general information and knowledge. (This will be included in the first couple of PowerPoint slides to introduce your topic and give relevant background information) For example if your topic is Ovarian Cancer in the introduction you might talk about what is cancer in general and then specifically an overview of ovarian cancer.

Discussion – Discuss your topic and focus on what you will talk about in your presentation. (This will be what the bulk of your PowerPoint slides will be). Depending on your topic this might include; causes of a disease, symptoms, treatments, both sides of the story, why is it controversial, any relevant legislation, interesting points, or why it has been in the news recently etc.

Conclusion – This is a one paragraph summary of your topic. (This should be 1 -2 wrap up summary slides in your presentation)

Optional-you can place any personal experiences or why you picked the topic you did.
