You need to write an essay by using the analysis tools we study in this class. You need to find a data set by yourself, which could be either firm level data or public data. The contents in the project essay: 1. Title (topic) 2. Abstract – A brief introduction (description) of the project. 3. Table of Contents4. Section 1 1) Description of your data using the descriptive statistic technique 2) Relationship between the variables in your research 3) The expected outcomes 5. Section II – The theoretical justification for the project in the literature (literature review) 6. References If you have a data set that contains a small amount of data, for example, you have 10 observations, then you may consider the follows: what you can do is calculate the mean, median, maximum and minimum. And do some bar chart, pie chart to see the range distributions of those data. And think about the reasons behind: why those data is dispersive or not, and how that helps to satisfy customers’ need, and so on.
