(a) extreme or deviant case sampling,
(b) critical case sampling, AND
(c) typical case sampling.

Part B
A researcher at Northern Arizona University decides to conduct a survey of student satisfaction with a new course on global cultural knowledge that must be taken by all undergraduates. The researcher sends out a broadcast e-mail to all students and places flyers all around campus announcing the survey. A total of 17% of students reply to the survey after two weeks and the researcher reports that the global cultural knowledge class is a resounding success.
