The interview questions must be directed towards better understanding the lived experience of that chosen interviewee concerning Ageism in the older adult. Please refer to the articles, Experiences and Expressions of Ageism and Ageism in America, for information concerning Ageism in the elderly prior to creating your interview questions.
Interview Questions:
Each student participates in developing the interview questions by creating two-three questions, including a rationale for each question(why are you are asking the question- what do you want to learn about Ageism with the question you have created?)
Helpful tips:
1) Are the interview questions worded clearly and appropriately to better understand the lived experience concerning Ageism?
2) Are the questions culturally/ethnically-sensitive to the older adult?
3) Are the questions grammatically correct?
4) Do the questions build upon each other to reflect appropriate learning throughout the actual interview?
5) Did you provide a reference for the rationale?
Remember: This is about Ageism…not Aging!
No minimum word count to postings – Quality over Quantity!
Don’t forget the Reference list if you cited any sources in your rationales
