MISY 3310 Excel Project 2
Parameters
1. Last open-ended project.
2. You must have all of the listed sheets; but it is up to you to make your workbook attractive, easy-
to-read, and mathematically correct.
Output
3. You will submit one Excel workbook with several sheets. All of the information can be made up,
just try to make it a little realistic. You can look online for examples.
Grading
4. Please note – using ONLY the required features and formulas is not an A.
• 60% – Use of required features, formatting, formulas and all required sheets.
• 20% – Formatting (readability, correct graph formatting, more than simple basic formatting)
• 20% – Inclusion of additional formulas: average, round, index, date, financial or statistical
formulas, etc. Use as many as you can use correctly.
Pivot Table
5. Create some data that you can use for a Pivot Table. Then create a pivot table and list 4 or 5
questions (and their answers) that your pivot table answers. Pivot tables:

Excel also has a pivot table tutorial – open Excel and select it instead of creating/opening a file:

6. Create a table and include any table features you like.
7. Copy that sheet and convert it to a range and use any extra features you like.

8. For your last sheet, please list all of the formulas and features you used so that nothing is
overlooked when grading.
When you are finished, submit your Excel file. Do not submit a link – attach the actual file.
It may look different in Blackboard, but don’t worry – we will download it for grading, and it should work
if you saved it correctly.
