Formatting
• Scholarly paper is to be 3 typewritten pages (double-spaced)
• Title page (this does not count in the 3-page limit), title, brief introduction, body of paper (use
headings), brief conclusion
• The use of references to support the discussion is required
o References need to be peer-reviewed journal articles and/or textbooks. (Do not use websites
and do not use class slides as references). Nursing literature needs to be retrieved using
CINAHL.
o Ensure that discussion is adequately and appropriately supported.
o Peer-reviewed articles that have been part of this course can be used, but additional
references are required.
o References should be from within the last 10 years and as current as available.
• Include a reference list at the end of your paper (this does not count in the 3-page limit)
• Use correct APA format (7th ed.) for font style and size, page numbers, headings, reference list, and in-
text citations
• Correct grammar and spelling are expected
