The U.S. Supreme Court’s 1966 ruling in Miranda v. Arizona has led to various case-law ramifications relating to the U.S. Constitution, especially the Fifth Amendment regarding your right to remain silent and the Sixth Amendment regarding your right to an attorney. Select and explain two subsequent U.S. Supreme Court or New York Court of Appeals rulings from our textbook, one Fifth Amendment case and one Sixth Amendment case, that are a product of the ruling in the Miranda case. In other words, two cases found in our textbook decided after Miranda, not before, where the ruling in Miranda in someway was discussed, applied or modified.
