COMPLEMENTARY THERAPY IN PRIMARY CARE 1. Select a client from your clinical setting (primary care) with a particular health condition (e.g., headaches, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic pain, depression). 2. Propose one or more complementary therapies for this particular diagnosis. 3. Speculate on how the complementary therapy or therapies might be instrumental in the client’s care and management. 4. Present your conclusions in the form of a four-page paper. Defines the client, the clinical diagnosis, and presenting signs and symptoms; Describes the rationale for selection of complementary therapies; Discusses the integration of complementary therapies into the client management plan; and Describe the predicted outcomes of implementing the complementary therapies.
