The criminal justice system is comprised of law enforcement who enforce the laws, courts that decide innocence/guilt as well a punishment, and corrections and probation/parole who oversee implementation of the sanctions. However, it is the legislators who create the laws and the consequences, which the criminal justice system must enforce. Is the criminal justice SYSTEM discriminatory in its dealings with society?
