Those in the attachment might help if you find something better use it. I will post all the instructions on messages because everything here gets messed up. Assignment: Please follow my advice and use the graphic organizer before you write the paper. Your posting should only be the paper, composed of 5 paragraphs corresponding to the information required, multiple citations of the 9 peer-reviewed sources (minimum) and reference list. Remember you need to blend your information from 2 or more sources, so I should be seeing 2 or more sources inside each citation. Proposed Strategy (must use minimum of 6 sources): First paragraph— start with topic and rationale: a.) Topic: Provide classmates with your topic in the first sentence of the first paragraph. EX1:The goal of this proposal is to improve physical security to prevent active shooter incidents at a mall. EX2: The goal of this proposal is to improve evacuation procedures at a nursing home during a natural disaster, specifically flooding. b.) Rationale: In 2-3 sentences, provide the rationale for proposed strategy. In other words, what made the current strategy ineffective (i.e., led to security breach/incident) and therefore in need of being improved? EX: To prevent cybersecurity incidents, employees had training when hired. However, after a few months, they were getting complacent, which led to an increase in the number of breaches. Providing training to employees every few months keeps them from becoming complacent, teaches them about new types of cyberattacks and how to avoid them, and tests weaknesses in the current strategy/training. c.) Provide an overview of the proposed strategy–should be grounded in the theory you proposed —or–in framework for current EM plan. Ex: if you used R.A.T. for physical security or cybersecurity, then you can indicate that training employees increases the presence of capable guardian and/or reduces suitability of victim to the offender [hardened the target] Second paragraph Indicate how this proposed plan differs from past strategies and indicate whether other companies/countries have used something similar successfully; Third paragraph Specify how the proposed strategy will prevent/help mitigate the problem you are examining; Explain reasons for success/failure; Conclusion (must use minimum of 3 sources) In 1 or 2 paragraphs— explain the benefits that new strategy will have for private sector and on society AND how this will prevent the problems previously occurring with the current strategy.
