The conceptual material describes four product development team structures – functional, lightweight, heavyweight, and autonomous. A key feature of the Medisys Intenscare team was its cross-functional nature, and it seems they intended to create something like a heavyweight team. But, their team doesn’t fit any of the four structures perfectly.
