Our unit has recently experienced a mass exit of experience nurses due to advancements in their career as nurse practitioners, certified registered nurse anesthetists and increase travel nursing opportunities during this pandemic. Majority of the unit’s team members are inexperienced, lacking critical thinking skills and knowledge for swift appropriate interventions in emergent or code situations. Why is the problem relevant and important? What would happen if it were not addressed? This problem is very important because every second count in crucial situations. Inexperience nurses not reacting in a timely or appropriate manner will result in poor patient outcomes Proposal plan: Scheduled and impromptu mock simulations will improve nurse’s critical thinking skills and self-confidence which will result in better patient outcomes Paper must: Justifies relevance of the problem through evidence-based support Fully justifies rationale for the proposed change based on evidence Desсrіption of the problem or need for change/practice Resolution strategy Implementation plan Evaluation method Planned process for dissemination of project findings Include the IOWA evidence-based model headings 1.
