Download the most recent report by following the instructions in this week’s Reading & Study. Read it over and select the topic from the report that you think is the most important takeaway—the topic that, if you were a CIO, would result in the biggest item on your to-do list for the upcoming year. Explain why you think that topic is the most important and back it up with data and quotes from the report.
You are required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt. Each thread must be at least 800 words. All assertions in your thread and replies must be supported by Reading & Study materials, good examples, thoughtful analysis, and at least 2 scholarly resources. The Post 3 instructions indicate to use the textbook link for the discussion. According to Kim & Solomon (2018). You can find the latest Symantec Internet Security Threat Report at https://www.symantec.com/content/dam/symantec/docs/reports/istr-21-2016-en.pdf. (p 358). The report is outdated. Can I use the Executive Summary for 2019, which is the latest Internet Security Threat Report (ISTR ) that is available? Broadcom purchased Symantec in 2019.
